The Daily Press is a daily morning newspaper published in Newport News, Virginia, which covers the lower and middle Peninsula of Tidewater Virginia. It was established in 1896 and bought by Tribune Company in 1986. It is currently owned by Tribune Publishing.

Abstract

Collection of photographs taken by staff photographers from the Daily Press and Times-Herald newspapers for the purpose of publication in those newspapers. Majority of photographs are of places, events, and people significant to Newport News, Virginia.
